The successful Candidate(s) will be required to: clean, wash, dry, and put away dishes, pots, trays, pans and general kitchen utensils by hand or machine. A kitchen assistant also will assist in cleaning kitchen areas, preparing ingredients and performing other duties to assist chefs and bakers in the production and packaging of products. May be required to assist cooks and chefs in preparation of food by washing, peeling, chopping, cutting up, measuring and mixing ingredients, packaging prepared food and goods for distribution by bagging, packing and labeling product, by unpacking, checking, transferring, weighing and storing supplies in refrigerators, shelves and storeroom and by preparing, cooking, and packaging food items. May also be required to clean restrooms, preparation areas, entrances and remove trash from all areas and keep trash room/location clean, keeping paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers topped up.

Requirements

Candidate(s) must have at least Two (2) years' work experience in a similar position, be able to follow instructions, have proven that they are able to be punctual, of integrity and work well within a team while being able to carry out duties with limited supervision. Must possess a proven record of integrity and excellent work references. Require those who can work early mornings, shift work, weekends and Public Holidays.
