Noah’s Ark Feed & Supply is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Retail Sales Manager – Aquatic Husbandry & Sales to lead our aquatic department in a dynamic retail environment. As we are open seven days a week, the successful candidate must be flexible and available to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends. Due to the nature of caring for aquatic livestock, occasional after-hours work may be required. The successful candidate will be passionate about aquatic livestock, customer service, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities include leading, training, and motivating sales associates, managing fish husbandry (disease identification, prevention, treatment, life support systems), monitoring industry trends, working with the Purchasing Manager, and providing expert guidance to customers.
Requirements
Certificate, diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification in fish and aquatic husbandry; proven ability to troubleshoot life support systems and water quality issues; strong knowledge of aquatic livestock care and customer support; ability to identify, care for, and propagate aquatic plants; skills in aquascaping and terrascaping; breeding experience strongly preferred; excellent communication, leadership, and computer skills.
