Marsh Management Services is the exclusive captive solutions division of Marsh Inc., which includes providing advice, implementation management and actuarial services. Marsh Management Services is interviewing candidates for the following position based in the Bermuda office.What can you expect?The Senior Account Manager is responsible for the daily management and accounting functions of a portfolio of clients that consist predominantly of (re)insurance entities including captives, Commercial Insurers and Segregated Account Companies. This managerial position provides financial monitoring and control and ensures regulatory compliance.

Requirements

What you need to have:An internationally recognized professional accounting designation (e.g., ACCA, CA, or CPA) with a minimum of 8 years of recent insurance management experience, including building customer relationships in Account Management and/or Client Services roles.Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in financial reporting under GAAP and IFRS (specifically IFRS17), including reporting for Segregated Account Companies and understanding the insurance regulatory environment.Possess excellent knowledge of local regulations, procedures, insurance policy structures, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Capable of managing own workload effectively, working well under pressure both independently and as part of a team, and providing training to junior team members.What makes you stand out?Extensive technical expertise in applying US GAAP and IFRS to insurance entities, with a focus on Long Duration Targeted Improvement (LDTI) and IFRS17 standards.Proven experience working with commercial insurers, especially Class C/D/E licensed insurance entities in Bermuda, combined with a minimum of 5 years in supervisory or managerial roles.Strong leadership skills including leading client meetings, motivated self-starting ability to independently research complex matters, high personal accountability, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing priorities while managing multiple tasks.
