The Broker is responsible for the daily service of a portfolio of major US-based clients within the Casualty and Healthcare division. The Broker provides service & advice associated with placements made or delivered to clients and is involved in negotiations with the Bermuda markets to obtain the best terms, conditions, coverage and pricing for a client. Responsibilities include handling placement of insurance programs, understanding client needs, assessing complex risk situations, identifying new business sources, analyzing client exposures, and benchmarking data.

Requirements

3+ years of insurance or reinsurance broking or underwriting experience in Bermuda or the international insurance market. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Proven experience independently handling complex client assignments. Superior technical, financial and interpersonal skills. High level of technical expertise in Casualty and/or Healthcare policy forms. Bachelor's degree or significant industry experience preferred.
