Responsible for organizing and performing social activities at the Home and in the community, meeting individual / collective needs of the residents both Live In and Day Care, under the direction of the Activity Coordinator. Primary responsibilities include performing morning announcements, leading daily group and individual activities, transporting residents to and from community activities, maintaining positive relations with family members, and ensuring work areas are safe and tidy.

Requirements

High school diploma of GED; Must have a certificate as a Certified Activity Aide; A Certified Nursing Assistant certificate is an asset; Must be registered with the Bermuda Nursing Council; Must have effective communications skills; Able to work unsupervised; Must have patience and understanding skills needed to work with the elderly; Displays integrity and honesty.
