We are seeking an experienced Educational Consultant - Deaf and Hearing Support to provide individualized support to children who are deaf or hard of hearing, as well as guidance to their families and educators. This role focuses on helping children maximize the benefits of hearing technology while developing the communication, listening, and educational skills needed to thrive. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one support, assisting with hearing technology troubleshooting, auditory training, coaching parents, partnering with teachers for classroom strategies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as audiologists and speech-language pathologists.

Requirements

A relevant educational background and a BEC teaching license, or at least in the process of obtaining. At least 8 years of experience supporting children of all ages who are deaf or hard of hearing. Strong knowledge of hearing aids, cochlear implants, and assistive listening technology. Experience providing coaching, auditory training and communication support. Ability to work collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.
