Under the direct leadership of the Clinical Coordinator and Pharmacy Manager the Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for: Maintaining established departmental policies, procedures and objectives; Providing coverage for Dispensary and IV Admixture Areas; Providing clinical liaison services in assigned area; Completing projects or tasks as directed by the Clinical Manager; Participating in a shift rotation that include weekends, public holidays and on-call; Optimizing drug therapy outcomes in patients by promoting high quality, patient centered improvements in Clinical Pharmacy practice. BHB ensures the highest in quality health care through service excellence, education and leadership. We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to work in a supportive but demanding environment.

Requirements

Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy. Post Graduate Clinical Qualification – UK recognized M Clin or US recognized PharmD, Clinical residency. Registered Pharmacist License with the Bermuda Health Council and with the Supplement to Medicine – Bermuda Government. Minimum of two years of pharmacy experience in a similar hospital setting/position. Experience in supervising/ mentoring professional and technical staff. Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory.
