The Bermuda office is looking to fill a role for a qualified accountant who will work closely with the Corporate Controller, the Vice President of Finance and other members of the Bermuda accounting and finance teams. This role will cover accounting and finance functions across KCK’s investment portfolio in different sectors, although it will have a particular focus on the group’s financial services investments where the ideal candidate will be expected to be involved in the primary accounting function, mainly in a review capacity, with a specific focus on fair value modelling, supporting the head of accounting and head of finance. The role will also include investment portfolio analysis and reporting, supporting the group’s finance function, broader group accounting related projects, and periodic valuation exercises.

Requirements

A qualified accounting professional (CPA, CA, ACA or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ relevant experience, at least 3 of those years gained at a “Big 4” accounting firm, specifically gained in financial services and/or banking or investment management industries. Firm understanding of US GAAP. Familiarity with fair value and securitization accounting is required. Familiarity with operational and compliance environments around financial services. Strong IT skills, proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications with advanced skills in Excel. Experience with Bloomberg Terminals, BQL Excel integration. Experience of deploying Artificial Intelligence tools for quantitative tasks. Dynamic, proactive attitude with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
