Our Client, HMC Burnaby Urgent Care & Medical Imaging (The Hamilton Medical Center Ltd.), invites applications for the position of Nephrology/Internist Consultant. RESPONSIBILITIES: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases and related conditions and general patients. Provide care for patients receiving dialysis and manage associated complications. Evaluate and manage hypertension, electrolyte, acid-base disorders and other pathologies. Provide nephrology/internal medicine/general consultations and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, billing and with applicable professional and regulatory standards. HMC Burnaby Urgent Care & Medical Imaging (The Hamilton Medical Center Ltd.), adheres to a policy of a drug-free work environment and reserves the right to perform pre-employment criminal background checks and random drug tests.

Requirements

Must have at least 10 years of experience as a Nephrology/Internist Consultant. Must be able to meet the accreditation requirements of the Bermuda Medical Council.
