The successful candidate is responsible for evaluation, planning, directing, and administering programmes of therapy following referral from a physician in our Rehabilitation Day Hospital. Key responsibilities include meeting productivity standards, performing assessments, identifying problems, formulating treatment plans, supervising aides/assistants/students, observing/evaluating treatment effect, maintaining patient documentation, and keeping accurate statistics.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required with certification, if applicable, in jurisdiction of training. 1-2 years post-graduate experience in a related Occupational Therapy environment, preferably within a hospital. Local registration to practice with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP). Experience with evaluation, treatment and management of upper extremity and hand an asset. Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory.
