The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the overall coordination and direction of Clinical services at MSWSR. Provides high-quality comprehensive nursing care to meet the needs of the patient/client and manages/coordinates the delivery of cost-effective multidisciplinary healthcare services for a caseload of clients. Works under moderate supervision.

Demonstrate ability to complete assigned care plans in a timely manner
Plans and meets with an interdisciplinary team to establish a plan of care for each resident
Prepares and administers medications, renews dressings, takes blood sugars, blood pressure and collection of specimens
Coordinates with kitchen staff on nourishment/diet requirements for residents to ensure they are met in accordance with individual needs and preferences
In the absence of the nurse administrator, the nurse supervises all assigne clinical staff

Requirements

At least 5 years of nursing experience with 1-3 years geriatric care. Registration with Bermuda Nursing Midwifery Council.
