Hannover Re (Bermuda) Ltd. is a BMA regulated dual license reinsurer and has a focus on property catastrophe reinsurance contracts, mainly on an excess of loss basis, as well as on life & health business, mainly financial solutions. This position will be responsible for carrying out various aspects of the accounting function such as IFRS reporting and financial management. Key responsibilities include technical bookings and settlements, investigation of aged accounts receivable, maintaining internal control frameworks, and reconciliation of intercompany transactions.

Requirements

Professional accounting designation such as CA, CPA or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant post-qualification experience with accounting and reporting in an international (re)insurance environment. Experience of developing and maintaining successful client relationships. Ability to work independently with minimum oversight. Strong IT and computer skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytic skills and great attention to detail.
