59 Front currently has an exciting opportunity for the position of Assistant Store Manager. This position is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in all aspects of the store operations to ensure customer satisfaction and departmental profitability. The Assistant Store Manager should ensure the customer experience is remarkable and makes service a top priority. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a professional and supportive image among team members, and management Supervise and work with the Associates within areas specified by the Manager Communicate information about the business and the department as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets Assist with the training of positive enthusiastic employees, who ensure high levels of customer service Assist with the scheduling of employees, recording employee attendance and provide feedback on operational needs Assist with general inventory management including the security of property and stock Order stock in a timely manner and check goods when received Assist with data entry and invoicing as part of Purchase Order processes Supervise and carry out the merchandising of stock in line with store and brand guidelines Ensure stock and general access areas are clean and satisfactory general housekeeping standards are met Float preparation and store opening and close supervision on a daily basis Carry out and supervise all the operations of the till to ensure that all company policies are followed, and errors minimized Maintain positive and professional relationships with all the store suppliers Assume responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Manager Any other duties appropriate to the responsibilities of this role, as directed by the Store Manager

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High School Diploma or equivalent At least three (3) years' experience in Full time role in a retail environment At least one (1) years' experience in a supervisory role Knowledge of skincare and cosmetics and/or premium brands preferred Ability to assign tasks appropriately to ensure efficient store operations General computer knowledge including Excel Capable to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to perform physically demanding tasks when needed Able to work extended hours including regular workdays, weekends, and public holidays as required
