Dignity House Limited is committed to providing compassionate, person-centered mental health and addiction support in a safe, respectful, and therapeutic environment. The role involves providing comprehensive mental health and addiction care to residents, including those with addiction and detox needs, supervising junior staff, facilitating therapy group sessions, case management, and supporting organizational accreditation and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program recognized by the Bermuda Nursing Council.
- A minimum of five years' post-graduate experience in mental health nursing, including addiction and detox.
- Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council (BNC) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage clients in acute withdrawal from alcohol, opioids, and marijuana.
- Experience facilitating therapy groups and providing high-level emotional support.
- Willingness to learn and teach Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and other staff.
- Experience in case management and coordinating care with external partners.
