Carey Olsen is offering a unique opportunity for a commercially minded, technically strong and enthusiastic employment lawyer to become part of our collegiate market leading top ranked Tier 1 Dispute Resolution Practice in Bermuda. The main elements of client work will be providing advice on all aspects of employment and immigration law, drafting employment agreements, managing and conducting sensitive workplace investigations and advocacy including representing clients in the Employment Tribunal, Human Rights Tribunal and/or Supreme Court. The role will also involve some managerial responsibilities including taking the lead in managing junior lawyers, addressing specific performance challenges, and fostering their professional development with support from partners.
Requirements
The candidate must be a lawyer with minimum 5 years PQE specialising in advising on employment law; solid advocacy experience; outstanding academic credentials, including at a minimum obtaining a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree from a respected university.
