Pool Technician

Burrows Plumbing Services Ltd. seeks skilled Pool Technicians to join our growing team. Applicants must have recent, verifiable experience installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and residential pool systems. If you have the relevant experience, mechanical expertise, a positive attitude, and are actively seeking employment, we welcome your application. Experience and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of seven (7) years of industry experience Valid Certified Maintenance Specialist or equivalent • Strong knowledge of local pool operational codes, safety standards, and regulations • Proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications and technical drawings • Ability to use plumbing/pool maintenance tools and equipment effectively • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively Valid driver's license Additional Qualifications (not mandatory): • Valid plumbing certificate Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Installing, repairing, and servicing pool, spa, and related systems • Conducting routine maintenance, including chemical balancing & water testing • Troubleshoot and repair pool systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing components • Inspect pools for safety, compliance, and technical issues • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines and specifications • Maintaining accurate records of services performed, labor hours, and parts used Stay updated with pool technology and industry best practices Follow all safety procedures and standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment for yourself and your colleagues
