Skilled Mechanic

We are looking for a Skilled Mechanic to assume responsibility for the up-keep and maintenance on a fleet of vehicles, as well as a variety of commercial and residential landscaping equipment. This is an essential role ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our landscaping operations. • Must have a minimum of a High School diploma with 20 years' experience or be a Certified Mechanic with 10 years experience. • Experience in hardscape installations would be an asset. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues & conduct repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime. • Maintain a clean & organized work environment, including regular inventory checks of tools and equipment. • An intermediate truck license, with a clean driving record would be an asset to assist with trucking of supplies and materials. • Experience with body and paint work for vehicles. • Must have own transportation. • This is a physically demanding position, so the successful applicant MUST be prepared to work long hours and public holidays as required.
