Building Blocks Construction Limited is seeking a Senior Carpenter. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints for layout and procurement; cutting, surfacing, polishing, and installing marble and granite units; managing construction of formwork; and working with general contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors. The role involves residential and industrial construction, repair, restoration, and installation of wood and related materials. Tasks include constructing interior walls, stairs, framing roofs, drywall, crown molding, doors, and cabinets, as well as finishing with stain, paint, or varnish. The successful candidate will instruct assigned laborers and must be flexible in working extended hours on weekdays, weekends, and overtime at short notice.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least 5 years' experience and demonstrate proven experience in carpentry tasks. Knowledge of all tools, equipment, and materials common to the carpentry trade is required. Must be physically fit and able to lift material and climb scaffolding.
