Fundraising Coordinator (consultant)

Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including logistics, timelines, sponsorships, and ensuring a successful guest experience. Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective donors and sponsors to enhance community engagement and giving. Maintain and grow SPCA membership by engaging current members, developing outreach strategies, and encouraging new sign-ups to strengthen long-term donor support. Support the preparation of event materials, invitations, donor communications, and post-event follow-ups. Work closely with the Executive Director to align fundraising activities with the organization's strategic goals. Maintain records of outreach, commitments, and donor interactions in coordination with internal staff. Proven experience in fundraising, event planning, or nonprofit development. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage donors, sponsors, and vendors professionally. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Familiarity with Bermuda's local business and nonprofit community is an asset. Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events. This is a hybrid position requiring 20 hours per week - most responsibilities must be performed onsite at the SPCA, with some tasks able to be completed remotely.
