Bermuda SPCA is hiring a

Fundraising Coordinator

Deadline: 2 weeks

Job Type: Contract

Plan and coordinate fundraising events, including logistics, timelines, sponsorships, and ensuring a successful guest experience. Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective donors and sponsors to enhance community engagement and giving. Maintain and grow SPCA membership by engaging current members, developing outreach strategies, and encouraging new sign-ups to strengthen long-term donor support. Support the preparation of event materials, invitations, donor communications, and post-event follow-ups. Work closely with the Executive Director to align fundraising activities with the organization’s strategic goals. Maintain records of outreach, commitments, and donor interactions in coordination with internal staff.

Requirements

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred. 2–3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or event coordination. Demonstrated success in securing sponsorships and organizing fundraising events. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with donor management software is an asset. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently. Previous experience in a nonprofit setting is preferred.
