Bermuda Air Conditioning Ltd. is seeking to employ qualified HVAC/R Service Technician(s). The successful candidates will be experienced, self-motivated individuals with strong troubleshooting abilities and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of commissioning, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential, light commercial, and commercial HVAC systems.Duties and Responsibilities: Commission, diagnose, repair, and carry out routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems serving residential, light commercial, and commercial applications, including split systems, multi-zone systems, air handling units (AHUs), DX systems and preferably Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems. Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and control components to identify and rectify system faults efficiently. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, optimal performance, and energy efficiency. Carry out system commissioning, operational testing, and performance verification for newly installed or repaired equipment. Complete clear service reports and maintain accurate job documentation in line with company and client requirements. Work safely and efficiently across multiple service calls while maintaining high workmanship standards and meeting service schedules. Provide guidance and support to junior technicians and apprentices when required.

Requirements

Required Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as an HVAC/R Service Technician working with residential, light commercial, and commercial air conditioning systems. Proven experience servicing, fault finding, and maintaining split systems, multi-zone systems, and packaged units. Experience with VRV/VRF systems would be considered an asset. Demonstrated ability to diagnose system faults, carry out repairs, and perform routine preventative maintenance with minimal supervision. Ability to work professionally alongside clients, contractors, and other trades while representing the company to a high standard. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
