Senior Fire Alarm Technician/ Foreperson

Perform service, verification and inspection on fire alarm systems. Install, program and commission stand alone and network fire alarm systems. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, system software programs, schematics, and manufacturers' standards. Inspect and install equipment to meet all applicable codes (NPFA-70, 72 and 101). Evaluate and diagnose equipment that requires servicing, as well as troubleshoot problems. Provide specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost-effective methods to return equipment to proper working order.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a senior technician within the fire alarm industry. Fire alarm network programming, testing, troubleshooting and commissioning. Sound staff supervision background. Industry recognized certification (NICET, CFAA, fire alarm equipment manufacturers). Manufacturer's certification for one of the major fire alarm brands. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills.
