Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie will provide support to the Head Chef and Chef de Parties in all stations to cook and present meals. Duties associated with this role include preparing mis en place, culinary dishes, enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. Must be able to work in any station, i.e. Hot, Cold or Pastry Kitchen. Key Duties and Responsibilities include supporting, preparing, cooking and presenting dishes and assisting the Head Chef and Chef de Parties to develop new dishes. Ensuring you and the team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety; monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins; enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in the kitchen; reporting any maintenance issues to the head Chef immediately and assist with the provision of training for any interns.

Requirements

Diploma or certificate from a recognized culinary school along with 3 years' experience working in all stations in a similar restaurant environment. Successful completion of food Hygiene Training. Must submit two professional references for similar position at the time of application.
