Part-time Bartender

The Part-Time Bartender must hold a valid TIPS Certification with at least two (2) years’ experience in a busy bar/ restaurant. Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages as per the restaurant standards. Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks. Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system. Accept guest payment, process credit card charges, and make changes (if applicable). Maintains bottles and glasses attractively and functionally to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails. Present drink menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding beverages. Check customers' identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age. Prepare garnishes for drinks for patrons. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas. Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the Restaurant Manager. Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies. Adhere to health and safety regulations.
