We are seeking an experienced Meat Manager to lead our meat department. This role oversees daily operations, supervises associates, maintains product quality, and ensures compliance with company standards. A typical work week is 50 hours, including Saturdays and Sundays. Key Responsibilities • Supervise meat department associates and manage scheduling • Cut, trim, package, and merchandise meat products • Maintain accurate inventory, ordering, and record-keeping • Ensure proper product rotation, code-date compliance, and display standards • Provide excellent customer service and fulfill special orders • Uphold strict safety, sanitation, and equipment-cleaning procedures Qualifications • Minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in a similar capacity • Extensive experience in the meat trade, particularly fresh meat • Highly effective leader with drive, determination and sound decision-making skills • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • Proven ability to prepare and display fresh meat effectively • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work weekends, extended shifts and some public holidays

Requirements
