Oversee all the happenings of the classroom and provide some supervision for assistants and on-call staff. Develop and facilitate stimulating and creative lesson plans and activities that support students in all areas of development. Provide students with a clean, safe, and organized environment to learn in. Conduct assessments of students' development. Develop and maintain good relationships with students and parents. Maintain regular communication with parents through our parent communication app, in-person conversations, and parent-teacher meetings. Attend regular staff meetings. Manage the daily class schedule to include lessons, playtime, meal times, and naps. Assist students at mealtime. Change diapers and provide opportunities for toilet training. Provide a caring and compassionate environment for students by modeling appropriate behaviors, teaching good social-emotional skills, mediating conflicts between students, and creating a caring, compassionate environment. Must engage in regular professional development opportunities. Work with parents and other early childhood professionals to support the students. Participate in school fundraising activities.
