Our client Y Partners is looking to add an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to their team. The role is designed for experienced founders, operators, and builders who are excited to actively shape and grow the Bermudian entrepreneurial ecosystem. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Identify, develop, and validate new venture ideas aligned with Bermuda's strategic priorities and Y Partners' investment themes. Actively participate in venture design, early execution, and go-to-market planning. Contribute to the growth of Bermuda's entrepreneurial, fintech, and digital-asset ecosystem through mentorship, collaboration, and thought leadership. Engage with founders, investors, service providers, and other ecosystem participants under the Y Partners umbrella. Support Y Partners portfolio companies with strategy, operations, fundraising preparation, regulatory navigation, or product development, where appropriate. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on venture-specific initiatives. Represent Y Partners and its ventures in meetings with industry participants, advisors, and (where relevant) regulators-subject to applicable permissions. Participate in workshops, panels, or ecosystem initiatives that strengthen Bermuda's innovation profile. Undertake ad hoc projects, venture sprints, or strategic initiatives as agreed with Y Partners leadership. Skills, Experience & Background We are looking for entrepreneurs with a strong builder mindset and real execution experience, including: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Finance, or a related analytical or problem-solving discipline (or equivalent real-world experience). Proven experience in startups, venture building, or high-growth companies, ideally as a founder, co-founder, early employee, or operator. Exposure to fintech, digital assets, blockchain, or regulated innovation environments is highly desirable. Experience with early-stage company formation, product development, fundraising, or scaling. Strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. High personal integrity, accountability, and a collaborative, ecosystem-first mindset. A genuine interest in contributing to Bermuda's long-term entrepreneurial and innovation landscape.
