Our client, Accelerate Consulting Ltd. a specialized business consulting and talent solutions company, is seeking candidates for the role of Senior Consultant. This position will report to Senior Management and will take a managerial role during project engagements and be the main individual in charge of interacting with assigned clients. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITES: • Provide high quality accounting and financial consulting services to clients. • Perform various financial reporting and special projects based on clients' needs. Quickly adapt and integrate into dynamic work and team environments. • Build and maintain relationships with clients to identify new business development activities and expand the consulting firm's portfolio. • Work autonomously with minimal supervision. • Provide ad hoc support to Senior Management. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: • Must have an internationally recognized accounting designation (CA, CPA, or ACCA). • Senior Consultant must have at least 4 Years professional experience in audit, more specifically with Reinsurance and Investments experience gained within a Big Four audit firm environment. Must have a strong technical and practical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, IFRS and Bermuda statutory reporting including documenting technical accounting memorandums. • Must have experience with PCAOB clients including Internal controls in compliance with SOX, especially in relation to reinsurance accounting and investments. Recent reinsurance client experience required. • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem- solving skills. Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) and interpersonal skills. • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, including Excel, and industry-standard accounting software. • Flexibility to work within varying technical projects and the ability to commit to projects of various lengths in a professional consulting environment. A positive work ethic with a proven ability to perform highly effective within a fast-paced and time sensitive environment is essential. Excellent project management, organizational and presentation skills. Solid understanding of BMA regulatory requirements and a proven commitment to continuous professional development within the reinsurance industry.
