Insurance Team Leader

As Insurance Team Leader, you will lead a skilled team managing management and insurance functions for a portfolio of MMS clients, consisting primarily of but not limited to captive insurance entities. You will be the main contact and resource for all insurance matters, ensuring exceptional client service, while providing expert technical insurance support to your colleagues. This senior leadership role balances client satisfaction, team development and revenue growth. We will count on you to assist/manage: Lead and develop the Insurance team by providing regular feedback on training, performance, and development needs, and actively participating in year-end performance reviews, compensation decisions, and promotion discussions. Own the team's revenue targets, budgeting, forecasting, and fee negotiations Ensure timely invoicing and maintain strong financial controls to prevent bad debts Partner with Captive Consulting on strategic client reviews and new business opportunities Oversee new client implementation process and lead insurance program design and renewals Ensure client compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements Acts as lead for specific insurance related projects Serve as a key member of the Bermuda senior management team Act as Director and/or Officer for clients as needed Represents Marsh at industry events and regulatory forums enhancing our market presence What you need to have: An internationally recognized insurance and/or risk management qualification (e.g ACII, CPCU, CIRM) Minimum 10 years' experience in (re)insurance, including at least 5 years in Captive Management Minimum 10 years' experience and proven track record in client relationship management and delivering high-quality insurance services Expert knowledge of captive and insurance policy structures Excellent knowledge of local regulations and procedures Working knowledge of investment and insurance accounting What makes you stand out: Minimum of 5 years of recent supervisory or managerial experience preferred Be a resource to teams who need insurance advice Ability to lead client meetings, provide training, and independently resolve complex issues
