Enstar held Shareholder's Equity of $6.1 billion as of 31 December 2024. Responsibilities: Prepare/supervise all accounting functions related to your assigned accounts. Prepare/review US GAAP management accounts of assigned accounts on a timely basis. Prepare annual US GAAP financial statements. Prepare/review Regulatory filing and reporting requirements. Prepare and ensure the timely reporting of financial information related to assigned accounts. Provide Enstar's senior management with financial/accounting analysis of assigned accounts when required. Assist with claims handling, processing and commutation as required. Work with reserving actuaries to ensure booked reserves are in accordance with agreed position and all reserves fully reconciled. Prepare technical accounting memos, working in conjunction with Group technical accounting. Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, periodic reports, etc. Liaise with internal and external auditors, and many other group functions, as required. Responsible for internal control processes and documentation to a SOX-compliant level. Continuously improve processes and systems to increase efficiencies. Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: Qualified CA, CPA, CMA, CGA or ACCA with 2 years post- qualification experience in insurance accounting. Experience with general ledger, report writing and SOX control environment. Experience working in a fast paced, high-performance environment with a frequent need to adapt to change and implement new processes, procedures and controls. Solid understanding and strong practical experience of Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control and Sarbanes Oxley requirements. Proven track record of superior client servicing and management skills. Excellent analytical and accounting skills together with advanced spreadsheet skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully coordinate and complete multiple tasks to meet established and changing deadlines. Ability to work under pressure, in a team, and independently at times. The ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner with both existing and potential clients. Strong communication skills in English: verbal and written Demonstrate flexibility in an evolving and growth environment, coupled with a positive, proactive attitude and a high standard of conduct Ability to identify and implement change where necessary. Proven commercial acumen and ability to deal with complexity. Willingness to work additional hours as required in order to meet deadlines. It is preferable if the candidate has prior experience of using CODA GL and COGNOS BI and has worked in a run-off environment before. Current knowledge and strong practical experience of US GAAP relating to insurance and reinsurance companies Knowledge of Bermuda regulatory reporting requirements.
