The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) will be responsible for overseeing the risk management framework of the company, ensuring that all risks are identified, assessed, and managed effectively. The CRO will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework for the company's life and annuity business, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, collaborating with senior management on risk mitigation strategies, and providing regular reports to the Board on risk management activities.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, including experience with Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirement ("BSCR"), the Scenario Based Approach ("SBA") and other economic capital regimes. Bachelor degree in finance, actuarial science, risk management, or a related field. A master degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, solvency regimes, actuarial modeling, risk management principles, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and the Board of Directors. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
