Clarence George is working on a rare opportunity with a newly created hedge fund-backed start-up Reinsurer who are looking to hire a qualified Life Actuary focused on Pricing and Valuation. This role requires a qualified Actuary with 5-10 years post-qualified experience. Prior US liabilities experience and knowledge of Fixed Index Annuities (FIA) and Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuities (MYGA) products. This role will be operating in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment with a high level of proficiency in actuarial modelling software such as GGY Axis, MG-ALFA and Prophet. The selected individual will have the opportunity to build out a team as the business grows and gain exposure to an industry recognised senior leadership team. The ability to manage multiple workloads and perform effectively under pressure is a priority. Given the entrepreneurial nature of this role, there is industry leading earning potential and accelerated career progression as well as the prospect of future equity in the company.

Requirements

Qualified Actuary with 5-10 years post-qualified experience. Prior US liabilities experience and knowledge of Fixed Index Annuities (FIA) and Multi-Year Guaranteed Annuities (MYGA) products. Proficiency in actuarial modelling software such as GGY Axis, MG-ALFA and Prophet.
