Clarence George is currently working with a Bermudian reinsurer who are looking for a qualified life actuary to join their Actuarial Reporting Team. This role will sit in the Actuarial Reporting team, overseeing actuarial associates, and report into the Vice President. This person will play a critical role in ensuring the success of the Actuarial team by performing numerous tasks including valuation, inforce management, modelling, and risk and capital management.

Requirements

ASA or FSA qualification or equivalent with 5+ years’ experience in life re(insurance). Strong Moody’s Axis skills is required to be able to produce and explain necessary projections. Knowledge of US GAAP, US Stat, Bermuda EBS and BSCR, RBC and Solvency II is desirable but not essential. Experience and working knowledge of annuities (FDA’s, FIA’s PA’s) is preferred.
