As a leading private school in Bermuda, we are looking for dedicated and dynamic teachers to empower our students and help them reach their full potential as the leaders of tomorrow. This position requires experience teaching Enterprise in Year 9 and Economics in the IGCSE, IB Diploma (Standard/Higher Levels) and/or A Level programmes. This position may also require teaching Business Studies. BHS promotes a student-centred approach to pedagogy and learning. Through the Round Square network, students and staff participate in conferences and service projects around the world.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Economics; Formal teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, MEd etc.), which includes evidence of 120+ hours of supervised teaching practicum; At least 3 years’ experience teaching the subject; The ability to integrate technology inside the classroom; Have, or meet the qualifications to obtain, a current Bermuda Teachers’ License; Successful candidate will be required to provide a recent police check and complete SCARS Training.
