On behalf of our client, SparYard Marine Solutions, we invite suitable candidates to apply for the position of Experienced Machinist / Welder. Key responsibilities include machining for fabrication of high specification parts, repair and modification of marine parts, aluminum and stainless TiG and MiG welding, maintaining workshop organization, and assisting with major maintenance and repairs of Spar Yard machinery.
Requirements
At least 8 years of similar experience in the marine or related industry; technical experience in machining and welding (TiG/MiG); able to work alone and without direct supervision; knowledge of boat handling and heavy machinery operation an asset; heavy truck license or willingness to obtain one; basic computer skills; clean criminal background and excellent employment references.
