On behalf of Soul Food Grill & Cafe, we are seeking qualified professionals to join their busy team. The ability to function well under pressure and the physical stamina to work in a high volume take-out environment is essential. Chefs will report to and assist the Head Chef and manage the kitchen in their absence. Baristas are required to be skilled in all aspects of coffee preparation and customer service.
Requirements
For Chefs: At least two years' experience at the Chef/Chef de Cuisine level or five years as a Sous Chef/Chef de Partie. Full knowledge of local & ethnic cuisine. Associate's Degree or Diploma in Culinary Arts preferred. For Baristas: At least two years' relevant experience and excellent customer service skills. Barista certification preferred. All candidates must work six days a week including weekends and public holidays and have a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene.
