Salon Indika, 44 Victoria Street, HM12, seeks a Certified Hairstylist with minimum 3 years' experience. Experience in braiding and extensions preferred. Key Duties and Responsibilities All applicants are required to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times, applicants should be able to keep abreast of the latest hair products, trends, and techniques to ensure that clients are satisfied with the services provided. Applicants should have the ability to listen to clients and communicate effectively. Familiarity with trends in the salon industry. Customer service skills and the ability to upsell and make recommendations Strong knowledge of hairstyling techniques and methods A good work ethic and willingness to learn new things.

Requirements

All applicants are required to have three (3) years minimum experience, on the salon floor maintain safe work practices and hygiene standards, should be certified in all area of hairstyling and also have a knowledge of current industry standards and practice. Required Competencies, Skills and Abilities We are looking for a team player, someone who is proficient in braiding, hair extensions, coloring, styling. Applicants must have excellent customer service skills along with exceptional cleanliness/sanitation skills, they are also required to be able to build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat hair services.
