Produce Assistant

On behalf of our client, Pronto Ltd., we seek a Produce Assistant. Must have at least five years extensive work experience in managing grocery operations and produce departments; strong knowledge of different types of produce, including selection, storage and handling; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to multitask; and proficient in inventory management software and basic computer skills. Duties will include but are not limited to provide support and management to all aspects of the produce department operations, assist in managing inventory, ensure the quality and freshness of produce when culling and stocking shelves, and provide exceptional customer service. Candidates who can work evenings, weekends and holidays will be favourably considered.
