The Finish Carpenter is responsible for installing, assembling, and finishing high-quality interior woodwork and trim in residential or commercial construction projects. This role focuses on precision craftsmanship and attention to detail in the installation of mouldings, cabinetry, doors, stair components, and other decorative or functional wood features. The successful candidate will focus on high-precision interior finishing work; working from drawings and specifications to ensure all finishing elements meet design standards, quality requirements, and project timelines.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or Carpenter in residential or commercial construction. Strong knowledge of finish carpentry techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Proficiency in the use of carpentry tools, including saws, routers, levels, and measuring instruments. Ability to measure accurately and perform precise cuts and installations. Good problem-solving skills. Physical ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks. Relevant vocational training, apprenticeship, or certification in carpentry is preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in finish carpentry.
