On behalf of our client, Premier Contractor Supplies, we are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient materials handling, including receiving, storing and distribution, and assisting with the monitoring and efficient workflow while assuring accuracy within the retail store and its warehouses. Responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining stock levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse management, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Requirements

Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a construction-related field, where inventory Supervisory skills formed a major part of the role. Strong Microsoft Office suite experience. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems. Strong attention to detail with information produced being complete and accurate. Willing to work longer hours, weekends and public holidays as required to meet deadlines and to address urgent matters as they arise. Solid understanding of health and safety requirements in a warehouse environment. Excellent self-motivation, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong planning and problem-solving skills. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks.
