Planet Math is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and passionate S.T.E.M Project Manager to lead our dynamic Xplorers Xpedition camps. This role requires a strong leader who is committed to excellence in STEM education and dedicated to creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences for children.As S.T.E.M Project Manager, you will be responsible in designing and developing a S.T.E.M centered daily schedule for an average of 100+ campers per week. You will also be responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the overall camp program and daily camp activities. The Project Manager manages and coaches camp staff, while establishing and maintaining positive relationships with staff, parents, and campers. The Project Manager is responsible for the care, safety, protection and supervision of the camp environments, staff and participants. The Project Manager reports directly to the founders of Planet Math.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in a science related field; First Aid, Scars and SunSmart certified; 5 years' experience as a camp director managing similarly structured camps (100+ campers per week); 5 years' experience in planning and developing STEM camp curricula, as well as modifying activities when required; 5 years' experience in working with children; Proven ability to hire, train and oversee camp employees, as well as ensuring the campers' well-being; Proven ability to manage budgets and monitor expenses; In-depth knowledge of activity-related safety regulations, health and sanitation requirements; Ability to document processes systematically and perform recordkeeping; Proficiency in office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google sheets); Hold a valid Bermuda Driver's license and have access to a car.A clear police check is required on hire.
