Ornamental Concrete Products Ltd. (OCP) requires a Mason who will be responsible for assisting in the production of ornamental concrete products on a small-scale manufacturing site. This includes preparing molds, mixing and pouring concrete, finishing surfaces, curing, and handling materials. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment and supporting other general labour tasks as required. Key responsibilities include preparing molds, masonry techniques, demolding, operating hand tools, handling raw materials, packaging, delivery, driving company trucks, and managing cash transactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in masonry, concrete, or general construction required; preferably 1-2 years.
- Valid driving license for Light and Heavy truck required.
- Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs, is required.
- Basic knowledge of concrete mixing and finishing techniques is an asset.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Basic skills in verbal and written communication.
