A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving drinks, providing excellent customer service, and managing and cleanliness in the bar area in various hospitality settings. Bartenders mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes or customer preferences. They ensure drinks are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature, engaging with customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and managing bar inventory.

Requirements

Minimum age 18 years of age. Certification in responsible alcohol service (TIPS CERTIFIED). Knowledge of mixology, cocktails, spirits, wine and beer. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environment. Must be professional, reliable, and team oriented. Clean and neat appearance following company grooming standards. Proven ability to manage multiple orders and maintain bar inventory. Knowledge of food and safety and sanitation standards. Experience in preparing and serving a wide range of alcohol and non- alcoholic drinks. Minimum of 2- 3 years of bartending experience in restaurant, bar and hotel setting. Must be able to work splits shift, weekends, holiday and if need to cover someone in emergency.
