At Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre (BCHC), we are seeking a dedicated Radiographer/ Mammography Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. In this position, you will perform screening and diagnostic mammography and bone density scans, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires close collaboration with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging that supports timely, patient-centred care. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality mammography and bone density scans, ensuring patient safety; Assess patients, obtain clinical histories, and support radiologists in determining imaging needs; Accurately record patient information and imaging data; Prepare equipment and assist radiologist during image-guided biopsy procedures; Provide reassurance and compassionate care to patients throughout their visit; Contribute to quality control programs and report any equipment issues promptly; Follow all health, safety and radiation protection standards; Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver coordinated, safe, patient-centred care.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Radiologic Technology. Three (3) years relevant experience. Valid professional registration/licensure. Strong knowledge of positioning techniques and radiation safety principles. Proven experience in producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Strong technical acumen and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
