Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Experience: • High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent • Knowledge of standard laboring practices • Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment • Knowledge of standard laboring practices in an industrial environment • Knowledge of industrial safety and environmental practices • Ability to lift items and equipment up to 60lbs • Experience operating industrial tools and machinery. Forklift license would be an asset • Experience operating hoists and cranes. Operator certification would be an asset. Required Competencies, Skills and Abilities: • Excellent observational skills • Excellent mental and visual concentration ability • Able to work in a demanding environment (noisy, hot, and oily) • Ability to lift and move tools and equipment of limited weight, climb and work in confined spaces • Ability to operate hoists and cranes • Ability to follow verbal or written instructions • Ability to work in a team environment to ensure safe and efficient execution of work • Excellent time management skills • Motivated, focused and results driven.Salary
