Construction Foreman (Foreman): Skills and Abilities: - Must have the ability to read construction drawings and blueprints. - Must know how to lay out according to plan and have the ability to organize the work schedule. - Must be punctual daily. May be required to work overtime when needed. - Must work in a professional manner. - Must be able to work quickly at a high standard. - Must be physically able. - Must be able to communicate effectively. - Have a deep knowledge for construction. - Perform quality checks on construction equipment. - Must be able to problem solve. - Must speak English. Qualifications: - 8 years of professional experience. - Knowledge of masonry trade. - Ability to work under pressure, professionally and effectively with others. - Police background check. - Proven track record of reading blueprints and construction drawings. Duties and Responsibilities: A minimum of 5 years experience in the masonry trade. Must prepare surfaces prior to building, altering, repairing. Must have a good work ethic and be able to work well as part of the team. Accurately able to read blueprints, site layouts, and elevations. Must be responsible for own tools. Must be punctual, professional and reliable. Must be able to work with heavy equipment safely. Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when needed. (Mason): Skills and Abilities: - Must be punctual daily. May be required to work overtime when needed. - Must work in a professional manner. - Must be able to work quickly at a high standard. - Have wide knowledge and skills in construction, making alterations and repairs. - Able to operate light and heavy equipment materials. - Ability to work under pressure without supervision. - Can problem solve. - Willing to work occasional overtime, weekends and holidays. Qualifications: - 5 years of professional experience. - Knowledge of masonry trade. - Ability to work under pressure, professionally and effectively with others. - Police background check. Accurately able to lay block, plaster walls, complete form work as well as, but not limited to, slating roofs, pouring concrete with high end finishes. Must be responsible for own tools. Must be punctual, professional and reliable. Must be able to work with heavy equipment safely. Able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when needed.
