On behalf of our client, Joell Asphalt Service and Maintenance Ltd., we seek an Asphalt Technician. The successful candidate must have at least 10 to 15 years’ work experience as an Asphalt worker. Duties will include but are not limited to preparing road surfaces for asphalt paving by distributing and smoothing asphalt materials using hand tools like rakes and lutes; mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt; leveling earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel; operating pneumatic hammers, vibrators, and tampers as directed; and ensuring quality and proper application of asphalt in construction projects. Must be able to operate steel wheel rollers, bob cat, and excavator-mounted compactor attachments. Must be physically fit and willing to work overtime as projects demand.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have at least 10 to 15 years’ work experience as an Asphalt worker.

Salary

$30000 - 40000 per week
