We are looking for a fully qualified chef to assist in running our busy kitchen. It offers authentic Middle Eastern and Halal cuisine. It handles short orders as well as catering for a variety of events. The successful applicant must have proven experience as a Line Chef. Excellent record of kitchen management and must have minimum of 2 years work experience in a busy kitchen, with references from previous restaurants worked at. Ability to work independently and as a team. Degree in Culinary Science or related certificate would be a plus. Clean police background check.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Chef, understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures, excellent record of kitchen management with references from previous restaurants worked at, familiar with industry’s best practices, degree in Culinary Science or related certificate would be a plus, minimum of 2 years work experience in a busy kitchen environment, experience and knowledge in preparing/serving Halal cuisine is a plus, clean police background check.
