Project Manager

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills. With a track record of delivering projects on time and to a high quality, the person should be able to take full project responsibility from estimate through to handover, for staff and subcontractor management and coordination, creation and maintenance of project schedules using a recognized software package, contract administration in compliance with company systems and procedures, and liaison with design teams and clients. Due to the technical nature of the role, he or she should have a minimum of eight to ten years continuous construction industry experience and five years in a similar position with a construction company. They will have a strong background in Quantity Surveying and Project Management. Familiarity with all aspects of surveying, estimating, materials and subcontract procurement, construction administration systems and procedures, and project scheduling is critical. He or she should hold or be working towards a suitable industry specific qualification in construction or quantity surveying and be a member of an appropriate professional body. A detailed understanding of Sage 300 Construction & Real Estate software systems would be invaluable; as would be an above average competence with Microsoft Office suite of applications.
