General Manager

The General Manager must have at least 5 years work experience as a manager in a heavy equipment business and at least 10 years of CAT technician work experience in heavy equipment repairs. Must also have worked for a caterpillar dealership for at least 20 years. The general manager will be responsible for the daily general operation of the business. Duties will include but are not limited to managing operations of parts and supply, and servicing construction equipment and technical support to clients. Must have proficiency in CAT diagnostic equipment (CATET), Cummins Insight and John Deere Service Advisor or similar/equivalent qualifications. Must have extensive knowledge of transmissions, power units, hydraulics, A/C systems, Health and Safety and working at height practices. Must be physically fit, comfortable working at heights and willing to work overtime and on holidays at times.
